This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by The City to submit non-binding proposals for the Redevelopment and Deployment of an Employee Intranet (the Deliverables) as set out in this section of the RFP. The selected Proponent will be requested to enter into negotiations for an agreement with The City for the provision of the Deliverables. The City is seeking a partner who can leverage its existing investment in Microsoft 365 to deliver a modern employee experience that reflects best practices in internal communications, information architecture, accessibility, and digital workplace design. Microsoft SharePoint Online will serve as the foundational platform for the future intranet; however, The City is seeking a solution that significantly enhances the capabilities and user experience of a standard SharePoint Online implementation. The City has determined that additional capabilities are required to deliver the level of employee engagement, personalization, collaboration, governance, search, analytics, and overall user experience envisioned for the future intranet.
