Scope of work is to convert overhead powerlines and telephone lines to underground from P-407 to P-415 [P-407 is added] and PP-693 to PP-697. Location of new trench will be same side as the existing power poles. Work also includes replacement of switchgear with 11-ea control cabinets, complete with circuit breaker, multi-functional relay and all required accessories at F-108. Revised scope of work includes the addition of 1] extend facility area by 144-sf at battery area including walls, roof and floors, 2] Demolition of interior CMU and drywall partitions, 3] Relocate and replace 1-ea wall mounted exhaust ventilator and 1-ea shower and eyewash station including connection and accessories, 4] construct new electrical concrete trench in preparation for new electrical conduit, 5] off-island disposal cost, 6] Remove and relocate affected outlets during removal of CMU wall partition, 7] Installation of 4-ea additional lighting fixtures at Motor control center room, 8] relocate 104-ea batteries including battery racks and 1-ea battery charger, 9] replace existing 1-ea disconnect switches of batteries and 1-ea disconnect switch of battery charger, 10] remove 6-ea existing fluorescent lighting fixture including light switch and outlets on the existing battery room, 11] install new fluorescent lighting fixtures including outlets for exhaust fan at new battery room, 12] dispose affected poles; P-407 to P-415 and PP-693 to PP-697.
