Expression of interest: Small-satellite missions sandpit
Solicitation # 206083
UK Research and Innovation is seeking expressions of interest for a small-satellite missions sandpit designed to bring together approximately 30 researchers and innovators from diverse disciplines. The goal is to co-develop ambitious, challenge-led small-satellite mission concepts focusing on innovative sensors, data streams, and cross-sector enabling technologies to enhance sovereign capability, address national security and societal challenges, and support economic growth. The activity consists of six sessions held between January 26 and February 11, 2027, utilizing a combination of online sessions and a two-day residential event. Total program funding is listed at 1,870,000, with the objective of developing concepts for pump-priming research grants in 2027/2028. Selection of participants is based on core assessment questions focusing on skills and potential contributions rather than track record, with additional consideration given to geographic diversity across all UK regions. Applicants must apply through an Expression of Interest stage, and invited applicants will use the Resume for Research and Innovation format. Mandatory attendance at all sessions is required, with travel and subsistence costs reimbursed and accommodation provided for overnight stays. The program is managed by the UKRI Space Programme team, with the response deadline for the solicitation set for November 25, 2026.

Enabling Technology for Future Missions
Solicitation # 9F063-20260085
The Canadian Space Agency (CSA) is soliciting proposals under solicitation number 9F063-20260085 for the development of one to three enabling technologies to support future space missions. The primary objective is to advance strategic technologies to reduce technical uncertainties and support the implementation of future Canadian space activities. A specific focus of this effort is the maturation of a lightweight, athermal reflecting telescope capability to Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 5. This includes the delivery of a reflecting telescope brassboard validated for Low Earth Orbit (LEO) vibration and thermal-vacuum environments, intended for Earth Observation imaging payloads on CubeSats of 4U or larger, with the telescope itself being 2U or less. Key performance targets include a Ground Sampling Distance of less than 7 metres and a swath width greater than 5 km. The project is planned for a duration of 16 months, structured around five key milestones: a Kick-off meeting, Preliminary Design Review, Detailed Design Review/Work Authorization Meeting, Test Readiness Review, and a Final Review meeting. Deliverables include the hardware brassboard, CAD and performance analysis models, software, and a Technology Roadmap for advancing to TRL 6-8. This solicitation is restricted to Canadian suppliers. Awards will be based on the highest combined rating of technical merit (60 percent) and price (40 percent), with a minimum technical score of 70 points required for consideration. The procurement process includes strict requirements for security clearances, intellectual property disclosure, and adherence to environmentally preferable packaging standards.

Commercial Low Earth Orbit (LEO) Destination Contract (CLDC) Technical Library
Solicitation # 80JSC025_CLDC_TECH_LIBRARY
The Commercial Low Earth Orbit (LEO) Destination Contract (CLDC) Technical Library, managed by the NASA Johnson Space Center, serves as a centralized repository of technical standards, plans, and guidelines for potential offerors. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to support the development of private LEO space destinations and supporting systems as NASA prepares for the retirement of the International Space Station. The library provides a series of data drops containing both controlled and uncontrolled technical data, including standards for docking systems, payload interfaces, and crew health operations. It also outlines specific NASA center capabilities and high-value engineering products available to industry partners to reduce technical and schedule risks. It is important to note that this activity is a special notice and does not constitute a Request for Proposals, Invitation for Bid, or Request for Quotation. No proposals are to be submitted in response to this notice, and it does not represent a commitment by the government to enter into a contract. Access to export-controlled content requires the submission of a specific request form and compliance with U.S. export regulations, including the implementation of Technology Transfer Control Plans and Non-Disclosure Agreements for foreign nationals. The library is intended to keep industry updated on current NASA technical standards in anticipation of future FAR-based acquisitions.

The response date is hereby extended to 18 Feb 2022 at 7:00pm EST. See attached PDF for further details. SUBJECT: Request for Information for Mission Planning Studies in AFRL/RQRS In-Space Propulsion 1. The AFRL/RQRS In-Space Propulsion Branch is requesting information on spacecraft propulsion system components for reference in our Spacecraft Propulsion System Mission Design Database. The In-Space Branch works with many other Divisions across AFRL supporting spacecraft and Mission Design, including AFRL/RS (Systems Engineering) and AFRL/RV (Space Vehicles). Our support to them is primarily through propulsion technology development, but also propulsion system spacecraft initial design in support of the USSF and the warfighter. Key to the mission design is the current catalogue of items available for propulsion system fabrication as well as ROM costs for those items. Our database is currently being formalized and it is essential to our system design trades to have a current listing of the catalogue items you produce to support spacecraft propulsion systems as well as ROM cost. AFRL/RQRS requests catalogue data as well as schedule and ROM cost data for the components listed in Tables 1and 2 below. 2. For ROM costs, assume for CDRLs an ATP Data package, Drawings, a Manufacturing Readiness Review and a Pre-ship Review. 3. All information will be treated as Distribution D, unless otherwise stated. 4. This is considered for planning purposes only and does not represent a commitment by the government. We are not responsible for costs incurred in responding to this request. 5. Please respond to this request via email. 6. Should you have questions or require additional information, contact Jenna Jacobson, AFTC/PZRA, +1 (555) 000-0000, contact@example.gov.

Shoulder Innovation System
Solicitation # HT941027N0008
The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity intends to award a firm-fixed-price, sole-source purchase order to Source Medical Systems, INC for a Shoulder Innovation System. This procurement is designated as an 8(a) sole source under NAICS code 339112 to support an emergency procedure at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington. The system is required for a patient with a proximal humerus fracture and a very small glenoid with moderate superior inclination, necessitating a reverse shoulder arthroplasty. The specific system is required because it provides a lower profile glenoid baseplate and a specialized mechanism for surgical planning and deformity correction, which are proprietary components distributed exclusively by the original equipment manufacturer. The delivery date for the system is set for October 27, 2026. While the government intends to proceed with a sole-source award due to the proprietary nature of the equipment, it has issued a notice of intent allowing other interested vendors to challenge the sole-source basis. To do so, vendors must submit a capability statement including management, technical, and cost data no later than 10:00 AM Pacific Daylight Time on October 28, 2026. These statements must be submitted in Microsoft Word or PDF format, not exceed six pages, and be sent to the primary points of contact, Joshua Thompson and Tracy Robinson.
