DLA Troop Support is seeking feedback through a Request for Information (RFI) regarding the supply of fresh milk and dairy products to Department of Defense military customers located in the Virginia, Maryland, and D.C. area, including Andrews AFB, Dover AFB, Fort Meade, Fort Myer, and various hospitals. This RFI is solely for market research purposes and does not represent a solicitation or a commitment to purchase. Respondents are advised that the government will not compensate for any information or costs incurred in response, and any proprietary information will be protected if properly marked. The objective is to gather insights to develop a future solicitation for one indefinite quantity contract (IQC) per group to supply these products. The contract will require commercial firms capable of delivering fresh milk and dairy products while maintaining appropriate freshness and temperature standards, with the ability to fulfill same-day emergency orders given the proximity to delivery locations. Each award will cover one of three specific customer groups within the designated region. Offerors must propose on all items they intend to supply, adhering strictly to quality standards to avoid technical disqualification. The anticipated contract period is from June 14, 2026, through June 14, 2031.
