Research Firm

The selected firm will provide a comprehensive, turnkey scope of services to assist the district in answering various public opinion research questions. Minimally, the scope will include the following deliverables and services and any other deliverables and services required to achieve the following.
• Development of research methodology to achieve research objectives including procedures employed for statistically valid sampling, including stratified sampling. • Development of data collection methods and research instruments (such as surveys or focus group protocols). • Data collection for the survey in multiple languages (English, Spanish, Arabic, and Portuguese minimally; Bosnian, Russian, and Ukrainian also desired) with surveying methods used to mitigate language barriers. • Coordination with the district (e.g., School Choice, Career and Technical Education, et.) to assess the results of the public opinion poll; discuss implications and related issues including assumptions and potential biases. • A draft and final written report and presentation of results. The final report will include at a minimum the framework and methodology used; the tabulation of all calls and/or contacts made as part of the survey; the tabulation of survey results, key findings, and detailed findings (i.e., top [1] lines, and cross tabs); and conclusions and recommendations. • At least two presentations of the survey findings.
To the extent possible, the district will assist with databases or contact information held within district systems. The selected firm may need to suggest and leverage third-party data sources to achieve certain research objectives.
