SUNY Delhi has issued a Request for Information to gather details on potential solutions for a Residential Wireless Network tailored to support its campus housing facilities. The project aims to enhance wireless connectivity across residence halls and optional campus apartments, with a focus on scalability, security, ease of use, and robust support services. Preference will be given to vendors with proven experience in higher education environments, particularly those capable of supporting over 5,000 residential users, and offering comprehensive, 24/7 technical support. The RFI emphasizes the importance of solutions that can seamlessly integrate with existing infrastructure, include features such as single sign-on, guest access management, and optional mobile app functionalities, and adhere to accessibility standards. It also specifies that proposals must be submitted by authorized representatives by November 24, 2025, via email to Erica McKee, the Contracts Manager, and clarifies that this process is solely for information gathering and does not constitute a binding offer or contractual obligation. The university seeks detailed product information, qualifications, and support structures to evaluate potential vendors for this project.
