Through this RFP, the Trust seeks to solicit proposals from experienced producers and/or production companies (the "Consultant") to provide planning and production services, talent acquisition and event management services for the festival. These will include, but not limited to talent contracting, delivery and hospitality, event coordination and operations, sourcing and managing equipment, staffing and rentals, handling food and marketplace vendors as well as other partners and activations, managing the on-site bars and optionally, soliciting sponsors (together, the "Services"). For 27 years, the Blues BBQ Festival has been an annual celebration that welcomes thousands of visitors to the Park and upholds one of the Trust's major goals of providing free and/or low cost recreational, educational and cultural opportunities for the public. This one-day festival attracts up to 15,000 attendees over eight (8) hours of music, food, drinks and more across the expansive space of the five-acres of Park land at Pier 76.
