River Vista Public Access Project

The River Vista Public Access Project, managed by the San Joaquin River Conservancy, involves the development of public infrastructure located in Madera County, California, approximately one mile downstream from the Friant Dam. The scope of work includes the construction of a hiking and biking trail approximately 3,800 linear feet in length and eight feet wide, following an existing gravel road. The project will feature four natural scenic overlook areas, including one at the southern end of the trail adjacent to a planned emergency vehicle turnaround.
