THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary, and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government.



This Sources Sought is to conduct market research only, the purpose is to identifying potential sources, document the existance of small business capalities or lack there of, and gather product information to help develope solution for temporary UPS (Uninterupted Power System) equipment in support of the 181st Intelligence Wing, IN ANG. The Government may use the responses to this Sources Sought for information and planning purposes. No Solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy.



Not responding to this Sources Sought does not preclude participation in any future solicitation, should one be issued. It is the responsibility of the interested parties to monitor the SAM.gov website for additional information pertaining to this Sources Sought.



The purpose of this requirement is to provide a temporary Uninterupted Power System (UPS) solution for approximately 5 days in the month of July 2026, an exact timeframe will be provided in a future solicitation if applicable. Additionally, a site visit will be schedule during the issuance of the official solicitation if applicable. As this is solution is meant to be tempary, a leaseable solution is desired. Interested parties may provide documentation for proposed solutions in an effort to edcuate Goverment of market capabilties. The extent of the need under this requirement is the following.



PRIMARY OBJECTIVE: Maintain generator power and conditioned power throughout approx. 5 day transition of UPS replacement.


Solution should include:


  • Portable generator
  • Portable temporary UPS (200 kW) and batteries to put inline between portable generator while Bldg 37 permanent UPS/ is being replaced - Approx 5 days in late July (could change if project timeline changes)
  • OneLine drawing can be provided
  • Site survey with end user and Base CE
  • Coordination with Base CE
  • Coordination with Mission Critical Solutions (contracted to do UPS replacement) and Automation Power and Controls (performing the work)


Response Information:


Interested concerns will provide this office, in writing via single PDF, with a notice stating their positive intent to submit pricing as a prime contractor no later than 5 June 2026 at 2:00PM EST.


This notification, which shall not exceed seven typewritten pages (not inclusive of attachments), must include:


(1) Positive statement of intent to provide pricing as a prime contractor


Responses may include information on projects completed during the past three years of a similar scope, both for government and private industry. Including: Type of project, Price, Contract number, Location, Customer and Customer and customer point of contact. 


Responses may include product information in support of a proposed solution.


In the event adequate Small Business contractors are not available for adequate competition for this project, it may be advertised as unrestricted.
