AI Contract Overview
The Marine Corps Installations National Capital Region Regional Contracting Office is conducting a market research effort through a Request for Information to gather industry feedback on the anticipated procurement of non-consulting booth support services for the Department of War at the Great American State Fair on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. This RFI, identified as M00264-26-RFI-025, is strictly for planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation, guarantee of funding, or commitment to award a contract. Vendors are invited to provide input on technical feasibility, potential cost and performance risks, barriers to competition, and whether the requirement for a fully constructed and staffed booth—including infrastructure, interactive elements, promotional items, audiovisual equipment, and event staffing—is readily available in the commercial market and suitable for a Firm Fixed Price contract. The scope encompasses complete booth design, build, operation from June 25 to July 10, 2026, with setup required by June 24 and teardown immediately following the event. The Government is seeking Rough Order of Magnitude pricing estimates that include shipping, and industry is asked to suggest more accurate NAICS codes, identify key evaluation criteria, and disclose whether they intend to respond to any subsequent solicitation. Submission must include a capabilities statement, business information, CAGE code and UEI, SAM.gov registration confirmation, contract vehicle availability, and affirmation of willingness to accept payment via WIDE AREA WORKFLOW as outlined in DFARS 252.232-7006. All submissions must be received via email by 10:00 AM EST on May 11, 2026, and must be clearly marked to indicate any proprietary or trade secret content, as all submitted materials become Government property with no obligation to return them. No formal contract clauses or evaluation factors are included, as this is a pre-solicitation market research tool designed to shape future acquisition decisions.
