GovCon Copilot

GovCon Copilot is the CLEATUS AI agent, and it is more than a chatbot. It plans the work, calls more than 30 tools, and finishes multi-step GovCon tasks for you. It reads your solicitations and documents, changes your pipeline and workflows, and hands back finished files and reports. You find it on every page of the dashboard as Ask CLEATUS, and on the full Agent page.

Capabilities

Agentic reasoning with tools

The agent decides which tools a task needs, runs them, and checks the results before it answers:

• Searches federal, state, and local contracts, your recommendations, and your pipeline.
• Looks up your customer relationship management (CRM) records: people, companies, and agencies.
• Researches agencies, contracting officers, contractors, and award history in Market Intelligence.
• Searches city, county, and state council, commission, and board meetings, plus federal meeting notices. It reads the agendas and minutes that have text. It quotes what it finds, such as an auditor selection or an upcoming request for proposal (RFP).
• Reads your company profile, capabilities, and past performance.
• Searches the web for current events, agency news, and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) updates, and links its sources.

It knows the page you are on

The agent receives the page and the record that you have open. On a contract, ask "does this fit us?" On a pursuit, ask "what is left before the deadline?" A pill above the message box shows the name of the record that the agent reads.

Document understanding

The agent reads solicitations, amendments, attachments, and the files in your Document Hub:

• Summarizes scope, deliverables, deadlines, and evaluation criteria.
• Finds clauses, risks, and compliance gaps before you bid.
• Uses the Contract Breakdown for the sections of each solicitation.
• Reads the draft files in a pursuit's proposal workspace.

To give the agent a new file, drag it onto the chat, paste it, or click + and select Add files or photos. Documents upload to your Document Hub.

Actions, not only answers

The agent makes the change that you ask for:

• Adds contracts to your pipeline, moves pursuits between stages, and corrects pursuit details.
• Reads and fills in the custom fields on pursuits, people, companies, and agencies. See Adding Custom Fields.
• Creates, updates, and completes tasks.
• Saves searches and sets up alerts.
• Creates, moves, and renames folders and files in the Document Hub.
• Builds, runs, and edits workflows. See Workflows.
• Updates your capture profile preferences and capabilities.

Deliverables you can send

Ask for a file, and the agent writes it: Excel workbooks with many tabs, Word documents, PowerPoint decks, PDFs, CSV files, and JSON files. Save each file to your Document Hub or download it.

For a question about your data, the agent builds charts, tables, comparison grids, and dashboards in the chat. Download any of them as a PNG image.

Deep research

For a large research question, the agent hands the job to a research subagent. The subagent runs many searches in its own workspace and returns one report. Use it for solicitation deep dives, incumbent and competitor analysis, and agency research.

You stay in control

• Approvals. The agent asks before it adds to your pipeline or deletes anything. Those actions run only after you click Approve.
• Clarifying questions. When a decision is yours, the agent stops and asks instead of guessing.
• Stop at any time. While the agent answers, the send button becomes a stop button.

Voice

Click the microphone to dictate a message. Click Talk to CLEATUS to ask out loud and hear the answer read back in the same chat.

Skills

Skills are saved instructions that you reuse across contracts:

• Preset skills for pricing, compliance, capture, bid or no-bid decisions, and more.
• Star the skills that you use most.
• In the chat, click + and select Skills to run one.

How to use it

1. Open the agent

Click Ask CLEATUS in the bottom-right corner of any page. To open the full page, click Agent at the top of the sidebar.

2. Ask a question or give a task

Type your request, click a suggested question, or insert a saved skill.

3. Approve or answer when asked

Click Approve or Deny on an approval card. Select an option when the agent asks a clarifying question.

4. Keep the result

Click the copy icon on a message to copy the answer. On a chart, click Download PNG. On a file, click Save or Download.
