Your Company Profile is the foundation of CLEATUS — it powers personalized contract recommendations, drives proposal quality, and shapes every AI feature on the platform. The more accurate and complete your profile, the better the matches and proposals you'll get.
You can update your Company Profile at any time.
Step 1 — Enter basic business info
Provide the details CLEATUS needs to evaluate your qualifications:
- UEI Code (optional but recommended)
- Legal business name
- Website
- Incorporated address and physical address
- Entity start and registration dates
- Certifications (LLC, HUBZone, 8(a), SDVOSB, etc.)
If you have a UEI, CLEATUS can import your business details from SAM.gov for faster setup. Accurate details mean better matches, better compliance scoring, and more precise proposals.
Step 2 — Enter your capabilities
Upload your capability statement and CLEATUS will extract your capabilities automatically. If you don't have one, enter capabilities manually — well-defined capabilities directly affect contract matching quality.

Step 3 — Set your preferences
Choose where and with whom you want to do business:
- Geographic regions — specific states or nationwide.
- Agency type — federal, state, or local.
Precise preferences filter out noise so you only see opportunities that align with your strengths.
Step 4 — Bid/no-bid preferences
Define what you want and what you don't:
- Deal makers — criteria that make an opportunity worth pursuing.
- Deal breakers — criteria that should filter an opportunity out automatically.
Step 5 — Add past performance
CLEATUS automatically pulls federal awards from SAM.gov when you provide a UEI. To round out your profile, manually add:
- State or local contracts
- Private sector awards
Past performance strengthens proposals and helps CLEATUS match you to contracts that fit your experience.
Maintaining your profile
Review your profile every 2–3 months to keep certifications, capabilities, and past performance current. Up-to-date profiles produce:
- Tailored opportunity recommendations against your latest qualifications.
- Stronger compliance scoring against solicitation requirements.
- More accurate AI-generated proposals.
