CAT 2 AE-DBB FY23 Design/FY24 Constr. DELIVERABLE: Develop a CAT2 design for the replacement of 4 single wall USTs that are at end of life with code compliant Double wall fiberglass USTs. Time Frame: FY22,Q3 SCOPE: Replace 4 USTs total (3 18,000 gallon and one 20,000 gallon) with new USTs of comparable capacity that meet all current environmental regulation and engineering code requirements, including but not limited to federal/WA state regulations for USTs and UFC requirements (interstitial monitoring, sump monitoring, etc). Project scope needs to include leak detection sensors and connections to the TLI (upgrade TLI if necessary). JUSTIFICATION: Existing USTs are old, single-wall USTs and do not meet current code requirements for secondary containment (double-walled) and other current environmental regulations. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This project may require design work, as this location is in a heavy vehicle traffic area, and there are underground utilities in close proximity, as are rail tracks. Construction will likely need to be phased to maintain existing operations. AM and EV will need to engage in the project planning/development stage.
