The Federal Bureau of Prisons at Federal Correctional Institution Aliceville is seeking bids under solicitation 15B31826Q00000013 for the supply of bread products to be delivered under a Firm-Fixed Price contract for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2026, from July 1, 2026, through September 30, 2026. Deliveries are required to be made on a weekly basis, Monday through Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Central Standard Time, excluding federal holidays, to the Food Services Warehouse at 11070 Hwy 14, Aliceville, Alabama 35442, under FOB Destination terms. The contract is a Total Small Business Set-Aside under FAR 19.5, with NAICS code 311812, and is restricted to small businesses only. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) with an active record, including a validated Taxpayer Identification Number, Unique Entity Identifier, and EFT banking information, as verification by the Contracting Officer is mandatory prior to award. All payments will be made exclusively via Electronic Funds Transfer, with no use of purchase cards permitted. Quotes must be submitted by June 10, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. CST, and only through SAM.gov; no blank pages or unsubmitted forms will be accepted. Bread products must comply with specific technical requirements, including BOP National Specifications and CID A-A-20052C for sliced/loaf bread, with delivery occurring within 48 hours of baking. Deliveries must be palletized unless pre-approved by Food Service staff, and packaged items such as finger and sandwich rolls must contain exactly 12 rolls or buns per package. Religious diet items must be clearly marked with the Kosher symbol, or they will be rejected. Temperature standards require perishable items to be delivered between 34°F and 40°F, with frozen items at or below 0°F; any product showing signs of thawing will be refused.
