Notice of Exemption
As part of the California Stream Gage Improvement Program, the California Department of Water Resources has executed a contract with the Corning Sub-basin Groundwater Sustainability Agency to install one stream gage on Glenn Colusa Irrigation District (GCID) property where the GCID Canal siphons under Stony Creek, near Hamilton City. The stream gage will be mounted to a mast post and consists of (1) an image velocimetry camera, (2) solar panel, (3) a remote terminal unit consisting of a data logger, bubbler unit, battery, and radio equipment within a steel enclosure, (4) conduit connecting the remote terminal unit to the streambed, and (5) a staff gage. No vegetation removal is anticipated.
