Full Description

Provide underground conduit between manhole 1.2.7 and VIDS RCU enclosure. Determine the shortest route and trench to the required depth. Install 4” PVC conduit ensuring watertight seal and backfill. At RCU location, provide weatherproof enclosure to house fiber panel and install stainless steel stanchions to support enclosure. IMPACT: Installation of new AN/FYC-22 Visual Information Display System (VIDS) equipment requires fiber connection to Remote Control Unit (RCU) used to activate NAWCPAD lighting. The Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) will not be able to control NAWCPAD lights if the project is not completed.
