Full Description

H-GAC is seeking a qualified Contractor to provide one (1) disaster debris management workshop and one (1) webinar. In 2003, in response to an increased awareness nationwide regarding disaster preparedness and local experiences following Tropical Storm Allison, H-GAC conducted a study to determine the preparedness levels of cities and counties in the H-GAC region regarding debris generating events. Ever since, H-GAC has been providing opportunities annually for our local governments to learn about the regulations and best practices for all aspects of debris management and providing them with resources to implement the best practices. The need for disaster preparedness has not dissipated and, as a result, H-GAC is continuing with these efforts in 2024.
