Anne Arundel Community College is soliciting proposals for comprehensive elevator and chair lift maintenance and repair services across its Arnold and Arundel Mills campuses. The contract covers twenty-one passenger elevators and three chair lifts, requiring the selected contractor to provide preventive maintenance, inspection support, emergency response, and passenger entrapment services. All work must comply with ASME A17.1/CSA B-44 and OSHA safety standards. While routine maintenance is included in the monthly pricing, major component replacements such as controllers, motors, and circuit boards must be quoted separately. The performance period is scheduled from January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2028, with a tentative award notification date of December 9, 2026. Proposals must be submitted as two separate PDF files via email to the procurement officer by October 28, 2026. Volume One focuses on technical qualifications, experience, and value-added services, while Volume Two contains the price proposal, insurance proof, and required affidavits. Award decisions will be based on the most advantageous proposal rather than price alone, and contractors must demonstrate financial stability and maintain active registration in SAM.gov and Unimarket. Key requirements include the ability to provide reasonable disability accommodations and the potential for key personnel interviews. Notably, the DRGN elevator AA-1747 is excluded from the initial scope due to ongoing renovations.
