FEAD DELIVERABLE: CAT-2 IH DB PRI 4 PROGRAM YEAR: FY26Q4 FUNDING SOURCE: ST PSNS RBOD/MND: NA BACKGROUND: B856 Nuclear Repair Shop was constructed in 1973. There was a recent Architectural Barrier Act Complaint number 21-0155 issued that addresses inaccessibility due to lack of an elevator and that several doors are difficult to open due to their weight and lack of automatic openers. Reference (a) Architectural Barrier Act Standards, 2015 SOW 1. This Service Request tasking is to the Public Works Department Kitsap FEAD Design Team to: (a) prepare a Design-Build project to install a passenger elevator in B856 Nuclear Repair Shop to meet second floor accessibility criteria per reference (a). Chapter 4 of reference (a).
