The United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit is seeking to secure conference facilities along with audio-visual support services for events scheduled in June, July, or August of 2027, or alternatively in February 2028. The required conference venue must be located within 600 miles of Charleston, South Carolina, and must offer a minimum event space configuration that includes a largest room of at least 20,000 square feet and a second-largest space of no less than 5,000 square feet. Accommodations should include more than 400 sleeping rooms on-site or adjacent, with additional overflow capacity within a quarter-mile if fewer than 600 rooms are available. Facilities must carry a minimum four-star hotel rating and have been fully refreshed or newly constructed within the past ten years for both sleeping and meeting spaces. The contract will be awarded based on the best value assessment considering these criteria, and those interested who believe their facilities meet the requirements are invited to request the official request for proposal. Importantly, funding for the contract is subject to the availability of appropriated funds according to the Anti-Deficiency Act, and the government is not legally liable for payments until funds are confirmed and written notice is provided. The contracting officer managing this solicitation is Ms. Brenda Griffith-Lipsitt, located in Richmond, Virginia, with responses due by June 30, 2026. Communication regarding the RFP can be directed via designated email contacts provided by the Fourth Circuit Court.
