This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, F2U300309AA04 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This acquisition is set-aside for small business; NAICS: 561510; Size Std.: $19.0 million. This solicitation document, incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-66. Please see the attached statement of need for lodging support requirements Luke AFB, AZ 85309, and Gila Bend Auxiliary Field, Gila Bend, AZ, 85337. Description of the requirement: The service required consists of, but not limited to securing sufficient commercial lodging accommodations through a single travel agency firm for approximately 300 personnel. Please see attached Statement of Need for further details. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items applies to this solicitation. The following factors will be used to evaluate offers: (1) Price: Award will be made to the lowest evaluated offer that meets the requirements of the solicitation. (2) Ability to meet the technical capabilities of the services specified. There will be only one CLIN for payment, however, the RFQ needs to broken out by hotel, hotel location, how many double occupancy/ single occupancy available, how many personnel will be accommodated there, washer/dryer facilities and whether those hotels meet the radius requirements from Luke and Gila Bend. The Government reserves the right to make an award based on initial offers received without discussions of such offers. Evaluation will be based on low price technically acceptable within the requirements outlined in this combined synopsis/solicitation.
