Duration of contract: (date of contract award) to (2026-03-31)Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada requires data on current farm input prices, as there is a need to monitor input price levels to support ongoing analysis of how changing farm input prices impact farm operating expenses and the farm income situation more broadly, as well as comparing them with neighboring U.S. states. AAFC has formally supported the collection of these input price data on a regional basis in response to a recommendation by the Senate Standing Committee on Agriculture and Forestry, as there is a need for long term collection of these data to support the analysis of farm input markets and prices.
