The Department of Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support in Philadelphia is conducting market research through a Sources Sought Notice to identify potential full line or broad line food distributors capable of supplying Class I food and beverage items to three National Guard and Air National Guard locations in North Central Michigan. These locations include Camp Grayling, Battle Creek, and Alpena, and require a range of products including perishable, semi-perishable, market fresh dairy and bakery, and produce items. Delivery schedules and preferences vary by site: Camp Grayling demands multiple deliveries weekly during warmer months and monthly deliveries during winter, Battle Creek requires a single monthly delivery with specific dietary preferences such as gluten-free and organic products, and Alpena needs frequent deliveries multiple times per week utilizing a regular subsistence catalog. This notice is solely for information gathering and not a solicitation for proposals or bids. No payments will be made for any information submitted, and the government is not obligated to purchase any products as a result of this inquiry. Any future solicitations resulting from this market research will be posted on the FedBizOpps website, and interested vendors are responsible for monitoring those postings.
