AI Contract Overview
The James J. Rowley Training Center under the United States Secret Service is seeking information for an ammunition bunker expansion project to design and construct a new 5,400 square foot Outdoor ATF SPEC Multiplex Magazine with heavy-duty flooring, entry ramps, and awnings, delivered as a turn-key solution. The project includes relocating two existing ARMAG Corporation outdoor explosive storage magazines within the campus and dismantling, relocating, and reassembling a large metal shed to accommodate the new construction. The work is structured into two distinct phases but remains a single standalone project, with the most stringent requirement taking precedence over all others. The facility will be built at the designated site in Laurel, Maryland, replacing existing structures without disrupting site operations during transition. This is a Request for Information with the solicitation number 2026, posted on June 26, 2026, and responses are due by July 7, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time. The project falls under NAICS code 23 for construction and has no set-aside classification, meaning it is open to all eligible entities. The responsible office is located in Washington, D.C., with Crystal Pressley serving as the primary point of contact for inquiries, and Erik Syfert as the secondary contact. The place of performance is firmly established at the training center campus in Laurel, Maryland, with all deliverables and work performed on-site. Information submitted in response will inform the government’s planning and procurement approach but does not constitute a formal solicitation for bids or proposals.
