Full Description
To apply for funds through this initiative, projects must not be within the scope of the Board’s existing programs or contractual obligations. To be eligible for funding, the project and related services must:
1) Be an allowable use of WIOA Statewide funding: the project must fall under the activities permitted by the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA); 2) Align with Commission priorities: the project must support the goals outlined in the TWC Strategic Plan; 3) Be scalable: the project should demonstrate that the model can continue after the grant money is spent and that it could be expanded to other regions or Board areas in Texas; and 4) Have a clearly defined impact: the project should provide enough detail to how it will help the local workforce area.
