The California Governor¿s Office of Emergency Services, hereinafter referred to as ¿Cal OES¿ requires, TBD hereinafter referred to as ¿Contractor¿ to provide world language interpreter and translation services on an as-needed basis. Services include full translations of products related to the Cal OES State Hazard Mitigation Program (SHMP). Services shall be performed either in-person or via telecommunications devices, including language translation of written documents, in order to minimize or eliminate language barriers before, during, and after an emergency.
The Contractor shall provide a language solution that bridges the communication gaps quickly, efficiently, accurately, and in an attentive customer service manner during steady state and times of crisis, from a world language to English and from English to a world language by a certified interpreter and/or translator. In the event that a certified interpreter is not available, a registered interpreter will be acceptable.
