Supply Operated Equipment

Yavapai County Public Works is soliciting bids for the supply of operated equipment on an as-needed basis. The contract is effective November 1, 2026, for an initial one-year term with the possibility of four one-year extensions. The scope includes various equipment categories such as brush, landscape, and drainage maintenance tools, as well as miscellaneous equipment including cranes, hydro-vac services, and water trucks. Services are requested via purchase orders with at least 48 hours notice, and performance is distributed across specific geographic zones including Prescott, Sedona, and Cottonwood. Award will be granted to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder based on criteria including financial capability, past performance, and technical qualifications. Operators must be highly capable and compliant with FHWA drug and alcohol regulations. Payment terms are net 45 days from receipt of invoice, and contractors must register for the County's Electronic Funds Transfer program within one month of the effective date. The contract is subject to annual budget approval by the County Board of Supervisors every June 30. Bids must be submitted electronically via the OpenGov Procurement Portal by October 1, 2026, and must include a pricing proposal in Excel format and a non-collusion affidavit.
