SV26.2 Refrigerated Vehicles

The contractor is required to provide two 20-foot refrigerated vehicles for mobile cold-chain support to transport perishable items from the 5th BDE Headquarters in Tarapoto, Peru, to field feeding sites in Sauce, Peru, during the period of performance from September 4 to September 18, 2026. The vehicles must maintain a strict temperature range of 0°F to 40°F throughout transit, ensure 100% compliance with cold-chain integrity standards, and support daily operations including refueling, power generation, and equipment setup. The contractor must also deliver operating manuals, conduct on-site training, and provide 24/7 technical support with a guaranteed 2-hour on-site response time, 4-hour repair time, and 6-hour replacement time if needed. All operations must adhere to Peruvian Food Safety Act regulations, Defense Base Act insurance requirements, and U.S. Department of Defense operational security directives, including restrictions on social media use and prepublication review of sensitive information. The contractor’s personnel must be local nationals of Peru, undergo security screenings, wear appropriate identification, and be escorted at all times when accessing controlled areas. The solicitation, numbered W912CL-26-Q-A006, is issued under a firm fixed-price contract using the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) evaluation method.
