The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. EPIMS-NAP-47939-R3, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code, to Napa Valley Community Housing as represented by Victor Emanuel Rodriguez. The Project is limited to straightening and replacement of a 17-foot-long, 24-inch diameter culvert with one that is the same length and 36 inches in diameter, to increase capacity and reduce flooding risks to nearby residences along the unnamed tributary of the Napa River. The Project will use a combination of machinery and hand tools to remove concrete rubble and existing culvert components before replacing the culvert, adding a headwall structure, and filling with native soil and approximately 14 cubic yards of rip rap, resulting in approximately 187 square feet of permanent impacts and 567 square feet of temporary impacts. No trees will be removed.
