Connect Microsoft Teams to CLEATUS

Send automated workflow notifications from CLEATUS straight to your Microsoft Teams channels.

Connect your Microsoft Teams workspace so CLEATUS workflows can post notifications to your channels. When a workflow runs, a Teams action drops the result into the team and channel you pick, so your team hears about a new match or a status change inside Teams.

Who this is for

CLEATUS users who run Workflows and want the output to land in Microsoft Teams.

What you'll need

  • A Microsoft Teams account where you can authorize an app through Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Access to the teams and channels you want CLEATUS to post to.

Set up the connection

  1. Open Settings, then Integrations, and find the Microsoft Teams card. Click it, then click Connect with Microsoft and authorize access to your Teams.
  2. In the workflow editor, add a Teams action to a workflow.
  3. Pick the team and channel that should receive the notification.
  4. Run the workflow. The notification posts to the channel you chose.

How it works

The connection is per entity. Once Teams is authorized, any workflow on that entity can add a Teams action and choose a team and channel. To stop notifications, remove the action from the workflow, or disconnect Microsoft Teams from the same card in Settings.

Troubleshooting

  • The Teams action has no teams or channels to pick. Reconnect Microsoft Teams from the Integrations card so the authorization refreshes.
  • Authorization failed. Confirm your Microsoft account has access to the team you want to post to, then reconnect.
