ArtWalk Downtown Hollywood Market Producer

The City of Hollywood, Florida, is seeking a qualified special event producer under solicitation RFP-424-26-GJ to provide a turnkey solution for the management and coordination of the monthly Downtown Hollywood ArtWalk outdoor Market. The event occurs twelve times per year on the third Saturday of each month from 6:00 P.M. to 11:00 P.M., primarily located on the 2000 block of Hollywood Blvd. The selected Producer will be responsible for planning, promoting, and executing all aspects of the Market, including recruiting at least twenty-five vendors per event, managing on-site operations with a dedicated staff, and providing a complete main stage, sound system, lighting, and technical crew. Additionally, the Producer must schedule opening acts and headliners for City approval and ensure strict compliance with local laws, including the city's ban on single-use plastics and polystyrene. Qualified candidates must demonstrate at least three years of experience producing outdoor markets or festivals in South Florida, specifically working with arts and crafts vendors and managing events that include musical concerts. Proposals are due by October 21, 2026, and will be evaluated based on qualifications, service cost, approach to the scope of work, and understanding of the City's needs. The contract requires comprehensive insurance coverage, including general liability of one million dollars per occurrence and two million dollars aggregate, as well as commercial automobile and workers' compensation insurance. Payments will be processed via Automated Clearing House (ACH), and the award will be granted to the responsive and responsible proposer that best serves the interests of the city.
