MAGIS-100 Infrastructure Modifications

Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory, acting through its contracting entity Fermi Forward Discovery Group, LLC, is soliciting proposals under solicitation number ISD_373244_DA for the demolition, re-installation, and relocation of ducts and piping within the MINOS Service Building to prepare for the future installation of the MAGIS-100 experiment. The work, to be performed at the Fermilab site in Batavia, Illinois, is a Firm Fixed-Price contract requiring full turnkey execution, including all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision, safety oversight, quality control, and bonding. The project scope is defined by the Statement of Work titled “Construction Services for MAGIS-100 Infrastructure Modifications,” with performance tied to a milestone schedule beginning upon Notice to Proceed and completing within 199 calendar days. All work must comply with stringent federal, state, and laboratory-specific standards, including OSHA 1910 and 1926, NFPA 70 and 70E, 10 CFR 851, and Fermilab’s own safety and quality protocols. Subcontractors must demonstrate extensive experience in mechanical and electrical systems installation, including work at elevated heights, and must provide detailed resumes for key personnel meeting minimum experience, training, and certification thresholds.
