Project at NWS Seal Beach, Det Norco. Replace eleven (11) wooden power poles with eleven (11) steel power poles and replace eight (8) manhole covers. Pole Numbers that will be replaced are (3, 7, 8, 10, 11, 102, 104, 107, 109, 110, and 111). Replace the manhole covers for (MH39, MH9, MH10, MH11, MH12, MH13, MH15,and MH16). Command: NAVFAC-PWD/SEAL BEACH 3. ISSUE & IMPACT (If not completed): Our electrical system at Norco faces vulnerabilities due to the deficiencies with the current wood poles. Buildings that will be impacted by the failure of the support structures system included (B201, B203, B650, and B634). 4. DESCRIPTION OF WORK : This project will solve the deficiencies in our support structures of electrical system at NWSSB- Det Norco. Description of Scope of Work: The contractor shall provide all labor, construction, materials, supplies, equipment, functionality testing and supervision to complete work. A- 1-Remove existing communications lines and preserve. 2-Remove and dispose eleven existing 45' wood poles. 3-Demolish existing crossarms and hardware. 4-Remove existing (guy anchors,risers) and preserve to use if possible. 5-Install eleven new 45' steel poles. 6-Install new bolt clamps and re-attach the existing communications lines to the new poles. 7-Install new 10' fiberglass crossarms for the new poles. 8-Install new 4' wood crossarms for the COMM lines. 9-Install new sets of raptor protection for the new poles. 10-Install new pin insulators for the new poles 11-Install fused cut-outs. 12-Install Lightning arresters. 13-Work requiring a power outage requires a minimum 14 days notice to affected tenants. 14- Pole Numbers that will be replaced are (3, 7, 8, 10, 11, 102, 104, 107, 109, 110, and 111).
