UEM RISKTOOL PROJECT: SIG-NAS2-SS-B402 This project will modernize of the entire WWTP complex using MBR technology to satisfy the discharge limits. The objectives of the special project are: 1. Construction of a new MBR type plant The design proposal is to create a single tank with two trains working in parallel. Each line shall be sized to handle up to peak flow and allow for scheduled maintenance. A system for dividing the flow rate on the two lines shall be installed. Adjacent to the plant, a technical room must be created for housing the electromechanical equipment and a chemical room for housing the tanks for maintenance cleaning of the membranes. 2. Expansion of new office and laboratory The special project includes the extension of the office and the laboratory. The laboratory, once expanded, will be divided into an area for the analysis of wastewater and an area for the analysis of drinking water. A new workstation will also be added. The venue will be equipped with solar panels to produce solar energy. For WWTP, a workroom for SCADA control will be created. Furthermore, will be created a third office for work center supervisor. 3. Repair of B402 electrical room The special project involves raising the electrical room in order to further mitigate the entry of water into the room. Furthermore, the project provides for the structural renovation of the room and a new electrical panel. The room must be adequately ventilated and equipped with a new UPS system. 4. Repair of dry bed The special project involves the repair of the deteriorated concrete parts and the raising of the perimeter walls to enhance the capacity of the bed. 5. Conversion of filters to disinfection chamber Once the filters have been removed, baffles will be made to allow adequate disinfection of the treated wastewat ...
