AE-DBB FY22/Q2 Design / FY23/Q2 Construction Requirements: Replace the existing Suprotex fire sprinkler system, and any additional component replacement to include, but not limited to: water piping, pumps, valves, backflow preventers, water meters, control air compressor, addressable interface devices, notification appliances, monitor modules, install Direct Digital Controls (DDC), associated cabinets and program components. Evacuate and recycle carbon dioxide/halon from existing system. Dispose of old material. Ensure modifications are made to include the BOSC contract maintenance. Justification: The equipment is past expectancy and reliability is degraded. Moderate repairs will be required to several components, or replacement of one or more components assemblies. Critical components suffer from moderate to severe deterioration with perhaps a few non-critical components suffering from severe deterioration.
