Requirement: DB-IH HVAC Design/Build for the WOC room 206 to provide proper, airflow, temperature, and humidity requirements. Designer of Record (DOR) to determine proper airflows to provide a minimum of 4 air changes per hour or greater as required per UFC, perform heating and cooling load calculations. Provide selection of split system heat pump to meet: a. Heating and cooling load calculations b. Wall mounted indoor unit installed on east or west wall to meet manufacturer clearances c. Outdoor unit shall be placed on a concrete pad designed for unit on north side of building adjacent to existing outdoor units. D. New wall mounted, hardwired thermostat with set points 68-78 °F e. Stand-alone controls with CMS monitoring. 4) DOR shall include installation of CMS sensor in 206A and 206. 5) New work needs to be fully integrated mechanically, electrically, and communicatively with existing system as required for building HVAC system to provide required air changes to Rm 206 6) DOR shall include new locally resettable environmental emergency shutdown switch (E-stop) in room 206 inclusive of all wiring, electrical, and DDC connections that can be activated to shutdown HVAC system and initiate closure of outside air intake and exhausts valves/dampers. The new E-stop shall connect to base CMS. Include demolition of existing e-stop. 7) System start-up, testing, and training for all new work. 8) Update Direct Digital Controls (DDC) as needed to provide air changes to Rm 206 and ensure proper system operation for new work. 9) Label all HVAC equipment with property tags and proper unit designation. 10) Provide as-built mechanical drawings showing new equipment, modifications, balancing flows, sequence of operations, etc. Justification: This project ...
