Forest sector intelligence, reports, and forecasting data

An ACAN is a public notice indicating to the supplier community that a department or agency intends to award a contract for goods, services or construction to a pre-identified supplier, thereby allowing other suppliers to signal their interest in bidding, by submitting a statement of capabilities. Natural Resources Canada aims to understand and improve forest sector competitiveness by providing key economic information, analyses and assessments that will inform the development of federal government policies and programs. Critical to this effort is access to accurate, comprehensive and regularly updated data and analysis on the current state and forecasts for forest industry subsectors, including lumber, timber, structural and non-structural panels, and mass timber markets in North America and Canada’s key trading partners.
