REQUIREMENT: Demolish Buildings 368 and B462 to their foundations to allow for construction of a new facility on the footprint(s). Leave behind on grade surfaces only. Safe-off all utilities at 5-feet outside the building perimeter line. • Project will most likely require a Hazardous Materials Survey, as-well-as other hazardous materials may be encountered during construction. • Project will most likely require cultural resources support SHPO consultation. • Project will most likely require a 520-Survey prior to demolition construction efforts. 520-Surveys are done by the SY, coordinate with PMO stakeholder. • Properly remove and dispose of all hazardous waste and demo materials debris per NBK waste designation instructions. • Perform whole building demolition on remainder of structure. • Safe-off all utilities and prepare the space for construction. Justification: Buildings 368 and 462 are Unacceptable Risk Exposure (URE), related buildings as identified in NAVFAC LETTER IDENTIFICATION OF UNACCEPTABLE RISK EXPOSURE FACILITIES AT NAVAL BASE KITSAP-BREMERTON Ser 00/095, dated 5 DEC 24 Background: The completion of this demo project facilitates construction of a new consolidated facility at Bldg. 368/462 Site (Shops 11 & 26). Construction is planned for a Q3 FY28 start. Support Considerations: DASN, 1391, RPAO, 1354
