(IH-DB_24283147) RM24-3423 Renovate B844 for PSNS Security (SIOP)

Background: This project is to Renovate B844 for C1120 Security and C1130 Emergency Management. C1120 currently occupies B445 and C1130 currently occupies B491 and other spaces with in the shipyard. P454 M2D2 Shall demolish B445 to make room for movements between Bremerton Gate and the construction site adjacent to DD3. Building 445 needs to be empty for demolition no later than 8 March 2028. It is estimated that the movement of personnel and equipment from B445 to B844 will take 4 months; therefore, this renovation needs to be complete no later than 31 May 2027. Scope: Renovation of Building 844 includes reconfiguring space to meet the needs of the new occupants, repairing or modifying the HVAC system to serve the reconfigured space, improving ATFP elements of the front entrance, and creating a storage space and multi-use training and conference room in the basement. Attachments to this scope include: • Existing B844 1st Floor floorplan showing existing conditions • Suggested layout provided by C1100. • Existing building deficiencies to be corrected: * 2nd floor roof safety ladder needs a swing gate installed. • HVAC o A/C Chiller replacement is scheduled for Aug 2024. Current chiller is inoperable. o The following items have been noted as existing deficiencies that need to be addressed as part of the renovation: * HVAC outlets do not consistently provide air in the building. * There is no airflow in the building. * No motor starter for air supply fan. * Heat struggles to keep up in the winter, inconsistent. • General: o Comms/IT: The following ports are required: • CMDNet – 8 ports • NMCI – Non-Unnpi – 4 Ports • NMCI – UNNPI – 44 ports plus 30 ports for Public Safety • SIPRnet – 3 ports (In secure room) • NNPPNet - 7 ports (In secure room) • AACS – 26 ports • PSNET – 1 port • ...
