MSR 25818527 IPL Type: CNIC-NBK-OMN-SQ DB-IH Requirement: Replace old Steam Heating System with new Heating, HVAC and Venting system in UH BEQ B942, Bremerton. Work to be possibly be completed in FY2028 to coincide with MSR 23174671 WHC. Design a new Heating and Cooling and ventilation system for B942 that meets the new CNIC 11103 regulation. Remove old steam radiators in each room. Cut copper piping back into wall and cover opening. OLD asset : D942-0-MEC-1540-11-1B. NEW UNIFORMAT: D30-HVAC Justification: B942 Existing Steam heating system is past its life. Update the heating system to an HVAC system with heating and cooling and venting which is required per new CNIC regulations. The old system has a serious problem with the in wall copper piping that has solder joints failing throughout the entire building that feed all the old radiators in each room. The actuators on the individual rooms are also failing. CNICNOTE 11103 6 Sept 2024 Temperature Requirements In Unaccompanied Housing The new regulation requires that all UH BEQs have independent heating and HVAC systems with individual controls for each room.
