FUNDING SOURCE: (Split-Fund ~55%-REIM, ~45%-ST) --BACKGROUND-- When B107's roof was replaced a few years ago, the roof plane was changed to where the former light wells were framed over to form a flat roof surface. Three exhaust systems supporting shop production processes previously exhausted to the atmosphere via ductwork discharge through the roof nearby the former light wells. The roofing contract did not include the work to extend the vent ductwork to the new roof plane to exhaust to atmosphere. The vent systems have been exhausting into the building's overhead/attic space since the roof was replaced, causing an air quality issue within the building. This is a RAC-3 deficiency and is being tracked by C/106 under HDA# 20200116. Even though this is a RAC-3 deficiency, C/106 does not have any temporary mitigation requirements for the exhaust air being recirculated in the building. Nonetheless, these systems still needs to be exhausted to the outside atmosphere. C/106 HDA# 20200116 (RAC-3) INFO: VENT FROM HOTWORK SPACES DOES NOT VENTILATE TO THE ATMOSPHERE AND INSTEAD BACK IN TO THE WORK SPACE. MODIFY VENT TO VENT TO OUTSIDE AIR AND ENSURE APPOPRIATE CAPTURE VELOCITY REMAINS. --SCOPE OF WORK/DELIVERABLE-- 1) Extend (3) existing process ventilation exhaust ductwork stacks up through the new roof deck to exhaust to atmosphere. 2) Install (2) all-new ventilation stacks through the roof for the preparation of new process equipment vent systems. 3) At Site #5 (listed below), provide a turn-key installation of a blower unit with HEPA filtration, magnehelic pressure gauge, VFD controls, and electrical power. Specifications of blower/filter assembly & control requirements are provided on C/980M.1 ESR# 296. A copy of this ESR has been provided with this SR. This is a split-funded project and the final c ... NOTE: description has been truncated, please see Project Note for full description.
