FEAD DELIVERABLE: CAT2 CONTRACT PROGRAM YEAR: FY23 Q2 FUNDING SOURCE: ST SOW: Perform the work, for MDP-2 (Main Dewatering Pump-2: motor, pump and associated systems) that was not completed by SR 10235027. In addition to this, also replace MDP-2's discharge valve (including operator). Testing must be accomplish during a docking event. Testing shall include a duration test and capacity test. Water tight boundaries must be made water tight at least one week ahead of any docking even utilizing PW5 (unless specifically authorized by C980S.4) History: SR 10235027 was to overhaul all the main dewatering pumps (MDPs) for pumpwell 5 but the contractor was only able to accomplish the overhaul on MDP-1 before the money expired at the end of 5 years. While accomplishing this overhaul and a similar overhaul at Pumpwell (PW) 4 and 2, it became apparent that while one MDP was down for overhaul this was the best time to replace it's associated check valve and discharge valve. Learning from this, the SY wants to overhaul the MDP and replace it's associated valves and operators of said valves.
