MPSR# 21040073 Deliverable: CAT-2, DB-IH Requested Schedule: FY2026, SW Priority: 5 IPL Type: CNIC-NB-OMN-ST CPSC: Z2AZ Repair or Alteration of Other Administrative Facilities and Service Buildings DPSC: C222 Architect and Engineering- General: Electrical Systems Requirement: Emergency Generator- 1. Connect Fire Station B/1300 to existing backup generator that powers B1305 and provide auto transfer switch at fire station for new emergency feeder. 2. Provide new step up/step down transformers as necessary for the generator output voltage and fire station service voltage. 3. Submit power one line to UEM w/30 day demand load of B1305 and B1300 to confirm adequate capacity of standby generator at B1305 to feed both buildings. 4. Provide underground wiring for new conductors. Utilize existing underground conduit if NEC fill table compliant or provide new conduit if needed. 5. If 15-kV medium voltage cable is required between the transformers to avoid excessive voltage drop, install cables in concrete encased duct bank Justification: Backup power is required by UFC. HVAC Controles and Ducting- Extend HVAC ducting to all rooms on the south side of the building. Replace current thermostat control with zone functional thermostats to allow varying temperature controls across zones. Add finished drywall and door to administrative office space adjacent to the Chief's office. Justification: The previous project that installed HVAC to the North side of the building terminated the ducting without HVAC ability provided to all rooms. These rooms have been converted to additional bunkrooms due to the Shipboard Firefighting Initiative that has increased the manning for firefighters' enterprise wide.
