Purpose of the project is to grant a
Right of Entry (ROE) permit to PG&E for access to the Discovery Hall parking area in Lake Oroville State Recreation Area to install electrical vehicle (EV) chargers to provide EV charging capabilities for park visitors as part of the EV Charge Parks Pilot Participation Agreement. To install ten (10) new EV chargers work will:
Excavate a 36-in. wide by 45-ft long trench from an existing power pole to a new meter;
From the meter, excavate a 24-in. wide by 120-ft trench through the asphalt/concrete surrounding soils;
Install and pull all necessary electrical conduit and electrical lines;
Pour a concrete pad mount for an electrical transformer and install the transformer;
Install ten (10) EV Charger foundations and pedestals;
Pour/repair approx. 10SF of concrete;
Restore approx. 355SF of excavated softscape;
Regrade and pour approx. 570SF of concrete for parking stalls;
Regrade and pour approx. 130SF of concrete for sidewalk; and
Install vehicle bollards and appropriate signage.
