MPSR# 29154911 DB-IH FY26 SWING Requirement: (1) Design a more effective system that can withstand the extreme weather conditions and breakwater at Ediz Hook. Spefically, collar brackets, anchors and hardware. Currently, there are 3 damaged/failed collar brackets, anchors and failed bolts. Repair concrete and install new anchors. Increase bolt size for upper strut concrete anchors and reinstall collar brackets. Modify all collar brackets upper strut concrete anchors with larger, reinforced marine grade hardware and bolt sizes. Justification: Pile brackets are damaged beyond repair and require replacement with reinforced hardware. Note: Pile brackets and collars were replaced in 2021 with reinforced hardware and has failed again. A new design is required or we will continue to replace the system every 3-4 years. (2) (Design) Repair Floats at TPP Pier, B1047, Ediz Hook Design and replace utility runs from primary pier to west floats to withstand weather and environmental conditions without marine growth. Redesign and replace/modify west floats such that they can accommodate mooring SV64 in any weather condition for the location and prevent damage to infrastructure. Detailed requirements of the SV64 are provided in the project folder.
