DELIVERABLE: PRI4 CAT 2 DB/IH PSC CODE: Z2CZ – REPAIR OR ALTERATION OF OTHER EDUCATIONAL BUILDINGS FACILITIES– D30 - HVAC REQUESTED SCHEDULE: FY2025, Q2 LOCATION: Bldg. 2000, NBK-BANGOR REQUIREMENT – Replace Air Handler Units…, Bldg. 2000, NBK-Bangor **** THIS PROJECT WILL REQUIRE A 1391*** REQUIREMENT: Air Handler Units: 1. Replace existing Air Handling Units (AHU) #16, 18 and #46, with new; to include their respective (3) Return Fans (RF’s). New AHU and RF shall be made up of a “Fan Wall” system; and if possible, the Supply Fan and Return fan shall be contained in one single AHU. Recommend 2-inch insulated AHU walls complete with new integrated mixed air damper system. 2. At time of project completion, ensure that full mechanical, electrical and communicative integration into the facility, including but not limited to; Building Management System (BMS). All existing BMS features currently in the system shall be reconnected and fully-operational on the new AHU and RF system-projects. Ensure that VFD’s are tracking and being controlled properly, ensure that Mixed Air Damper systems are being controlled and are aligned and working properly, fully integrate the Smoke/duct Fire detectors, ensure that the static/duct pressure control inputs and switches are fully integrated and tracking properly with relation to fan speeds and damper positions. 3.Prior to start-up and system testing/verification, the system must have a load to allow these system to operate within acceptable limits, for an extended period-of time at various stages of operation. The Contractor (s)—both installing and facility maintenance personal shall provide a means to create this load. 4.The contractor shall show by demonstration in service that the system is fully-operational and is properly performing all intended functions.
