The United States Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) Futures Center is conducting a Technology Information Exchange (TIE) program aimed at fostering communication between the Army and industry regarding independent research and development (R&D) projects that align with identified Army Force Operating Capabilities. This initiative is designed to facilitate discussions at the executive level between industry representatives and TRADOC leadership, focusing on emerging technologies that support current and future Army warfighting needs. The program does not provide financial reimbursement and is not a solicitation for contracts but rather a Request for Information (RFI) to gather insight into available technologies and R&D efforts within the defense sector. Respondents to this RFI are expected to be companies with proven independent R&D programs addressing Department of Defense capability requirements. They should provide detailed descriptions of their ongoing projects related to specific Army Force Operating Capabilities such as sensor fusion, maneuver, lethality, survivability, training, and more, as outlined in TRADOC Pamphlet 525-66. Based on submitted information, select companies may be invited to participate in TIE sessions hosted by a General Officer or equivalent, aiming to align industry R&D efforts with Army priorities. Responses are to be directed to the designated TIE coordinator and must include information on past R&D successes, project details, and points of contact for follow-up coordination.
