SURS is a federally required component of the Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) and functions in accordance with federal regulations at 42 CFR Part 433, State Fiscal Administration (specifically Subpart C), 42 CFR Part 455, Program Integrity: Medicaid (specifically §455.1), and 42 CFR Part 456, Utilization Control (specifically §456.1). This RFI contains preliminary information to serve as a platform to initiate discussion with the vendor community.
