The NYS Olympic Regional Development Authority is seeking to establish a pool of qualified vendors capable of providing sports presentation services for various winter sports events, including cross-country skiing, ski jumping, Nordic combined, and biathlon, throughout the year. The RFQ aims to pre-qualify vendors who meet specific minimum requirements, enabling them to participate in future project-specific solicitations. These subsequent competitions will consider factors such as cost, technical capabilities, availability, past performance, and event-specific needs before awarding contracts. The process also seeks to gather baseline pricing and service information from interested vendors to ensure the Olympic Authority partners with reliable, high-quality providers capable of delivering comprehensive sports presentation services, including materials, labor, and related services for each event. The contract, with a duration of one year and an option to renew, will be executed within Essex County, New York, with a total project value estimated between $500,000 and $2,000,000. The RFQ emphasizes that only vendors pre-qualified through this process will be eligible for future project awards, and engagement may be for multiple events based on demonstrated capacity and specific needs. The procurement does not include MWBE, service-disabled veteran-owned, or disadvantaged business participation goals. Interested vendors are encouraged to respond by September 8, 2025, and can contact Andrew Vigne, the Event and Sport Finance Analyst, for further information.
