SAM.gov Registration Assistant (Chrome Extension)
Install the free CLEATUS Chrome extension that fills your SAM.gov entity registration field by field, flags format errors before you submit, and keeps your answers on your device.
The CLEATUS SAM.gov Registration Assistant is a free Chrome extension that helps you complete your own SAM.gov entity registration. You type each answer once in a side panel. On every registration page it fills the matching fields in one click and highlights them, so you can check each value before you submit.
SAM.gov registration is free. The extension is free too. No account, no fees.
Install and open it
Step 1: Add it to Chrome
Open the Chrome Web Store listing and click Add to Chrome.
Step 2: Pin it
Chrome hides new extensions. Click the puzzle-piece icon to the right of the address bar, then click the pin next to CLEATUS SAM.gov Registration Assistant.
Step 3: Open the panel on SAM.gov
Go to sam.gov and click the CLEATUS mark in the toolbar. The side panel opens beside the page.
Fill a registration
- Answer the first question. The panel asks whether you already have a Unique Entity ID (UEI), so it only asks for what SAM.gov will need.
- Prepare. The panel lists what to have in hand before you start: a Login.gov account, your Internal Revenue Service (IRS) CP-575 or 147C letter, formation documents, and bank routing and account numbers.
- Type your answers in the panel, one screen at a time. The panel names the SAM.gov screen you are on and the control that moves you forward.
- Press Fill this page. Each filled box is highlighted. The panel reports how many fields it filled and which ones still need you.
- Check every value, then continue in SAM.gov as usual. The extension never submits a form.
What it checks
It flags common format problems before you submit: American Bankers Association (ABA) routing numbers that fail the check digit, malformed UEIs, Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) codes, Marketing Partner Identification Numbers (MPINs), ZIP+4 values, email addresses, and phone numbers. It cannot guarantee that SAM.gov will approve a registration.
What it never does
- It never submits a SAM.gov form.
- It never fills a field without your press, and it never overwrites a value you already typed.
- It does not answer the Representations and Certifications questions for you.
Where your data goes
Your registration profile stays on your device. Ordinary answers use Chrome's local extension storage. Your taxpayer ID, bank details, and MPIN are held in browser session memory only and are erased when you close the browser.
Online assistance is optional and off by default. If you turn it on in Settings, the extension sends redacted page structure (field labels and headings) to CLEATUS so it can identify a field or page it did not recognise. It removes your saved answers and identifier patterns from that structure before sending, and the request has no place for a typed value at all. See the privacy policy for details.
